To date, Recovery has sold 1,669,600 copies domestically.Much better than I first thought it was when I originally heard it. Meanwhile, Rick Ross’ Teflon Don debuted at number two with a total of 176,300 units scanned. Despite the preliminary figures, Recovery moved another 187,200 copies. Hate it or love it, but for a fifth week, Eminem’s still on top. BUT Eminem has had a few singles out from Recovery, some promotion WORLDWIDE and i think he is possibly the most famous male star in the industry at the moment and has been the past decade so of course his sales will be 3 million sold plus and i dont think his album is going to slow down for a bit yet with Love The Way You Lie being in the top 5 for a few weeks and the video released the.On a personal note, seeing loved ones go through the recovery process makes me appreciate this album and his journey all that much more. Some may not like this softer edge from Eminem, but I personally liked hearing his Recovery, set to some hard beats with some excellent guest vocalists. Not to mention that this album contains one of Em's biggest radio hits in 'Not Afraid', in which he even mentions album 'Relapse' being less than his usual quality. Personal favorites include 'Talkin to Myself', 'Going Through Changes'(shout out to Black Sabbath!!) and Love the Way You Lie'. Instead on Recovery you get some great tunes with an edge and more personal introspection that inevitably comes with recovering from addiction. Now it is just my opinion but I can't even listen to 'Just Lose It' or 'Crack a Bottle'.
![]() ![]() ![]() Eminem Recovery Sales Plus And IOn “Recovery”, Eminem is showing the maturity in his lyrics, but still maintains the purity which in why I love Eminem. I have not heard his flow so crisp and so tight since “The Marshall Mathers LP”, and for you voice pickers out, yes Eminem is back to his normal voice for most of the Album. Eminem is back and his new album Recovery states that. Just a year past after his last release: “Relapse”. Eminem’s “Recovery” is just what hip-hop needs, as this is by far one if not his finest works lyrical on an album. This is pure Eminem as he is still rapping about, killing, doing drugs, having sex, being the best, and etc. Nether one of these things are bad, as he still has that psychedelic flow that he is know for. For example this album appears to have a few more guest artists than pervious one an d there is some auto tune T- Pain hooks. How to remove browser malwareOh I was wrong!! From listing to the first track “Cold Wind Blows” to the last one “Here We Go” I was left satisfy and empress. He sets the bar so high for himself that he diss last year album “Relapse” in tracks on “Recovery”.I was afraid I was going to be disappointed as I felt his debut single “Not Afraid” was good but not great. That is one of the reasons why I love Eminem. I was also surprise how Eminem was disappointed by his last album “Recovery”. Regardless I promise you won't be disappointed.Oh a message for Kanye, Jay-Z, Mos Def push your album’s to next year as Eminem’s “Recovery” is going to rap album of the year.
